Marco Carola - Bloody Cash

Marco Carola - Bloody Cash
Plus 8
True Napolinese Marco Carola again hits with an EP from Plus8.

I do not know whether the name of this EP, "Bloody Cash" was inspired after Camorra but it is obvious that Marco Carola keeps up his style within the borders of freshness and tranquility.

After all those years his tracks are still fresh and new. The name track "Bloody Cash" is a huge tribal influenced techno monster. With class(y)ic snares and all those Carola style components, the track accomplishes easily to be a big room choice. Marco Carola tracks are always high on BPM and energy. They never reside. Always rolling with beeps, claps, snares and cymbals. Carola fulfills every instruction on the 'techno rules book' with utmost care and craftmanship. "Sirens" is showing again his way of perception towards contemporary minimal techno music. "Italians Do It Better", that's exactly true. A weird baseline and breaky percussive loops evolve the track to the climax where we hear the "Sirens" and also very oldschool souding tasty pads. Filters and effects are the details which will uplift the audience on the dance floor. This is a killer track for late night dance attempts.

One of the two digital only tracks, "Pampero" (which is also my personal favourite) starts with a trademarking bassline of Carola himself. This is real 'techno di Napoli'. We were used to hear so much this kind of nice techno music with a pumping groove and ever groving baseline. Never ending musical journey goes on with "Long Jump". Again this time Carola shows us what he is capable of, other than doing 4/4 beats, he can also do a break beat oriented structure where again leads to a very edgy and straight forward electronic music. Marco Carola keeps the vibe rollin' with his latest Plus8 release "Bloody Cash".
