A vocalist, pianist, producer, Emika is Ninja Tunes' big fish for the forthcoming year. While getting ready for the release of her long player, Emika released a very nice EP called "Drop The Other" from Ninja Tune.

With remix efforts from the new Berliner dubstep guru Scuba and electro wizard GeRM, she is giving the required dose to every electronic music lover what she/he wants. A real base, more than cinematic atmospheres and a big dose of melody.

Scuba's Vulpine remix is getting irresistable with Emika's soft and strong voice. Signing one of the newest and best new comers, Ninja Tune has won the jackpot in my opinion. Emika will be the new star of pop influenced contemporary electronic music in the forthcoming year. We will hear a lot from her in 2010.
