SweetN.Candy-by the way feel free to pronounce or write his name in any way- is one of the best and most unique minimal tech producers around. His real name is Rico Henschel, he released from Dumb-Unit, Einmaleinsi and Raum...music. He is from Berlin. 

What else do you need? He has all the stuff enough to release a minimal techno EP right? No wrong! He is much more than that. Check his sound and you will get the point. He has that 'groove thang', although he is doing a minimal and dark music. This is the main aspect.

On his new Opossum release we again hear some good groove and uplifting beat combination. "The Step" is a good way of entering his sound universe. But the name track "Behind The Scenes" is an exact template of his alienated mellow ryhthm and groove feel. Just uplifting enough for a climax, SweetN.Candy again gives us the best Berliner techno gems by the help of three talented producers, Tim Xavier and Channel X (André Quasar & Mirko Hensel) who treated those tracks so cool. Again a good EP from Opossum  commander Marcel Jochmann. Well done!
