Canadian label Open Concept has released from a wide spectrum of electronic music heavily influenced by Detroit and electro. As the name says for itself their aim is to release the best electronic pieces without haunted on labeling or naming the same stuff turning round and round. This is why Ontario based Open Concept is highly anticipated and gets signings by any artist they want easily. Here you go with Danny Wolfers this time.

Their freshest release comes from Legowelt. A true Detroit romance in a lo-fi way as you wish. Also 8-bit turning ons and electro allied melodic dalliances are foregone or course. Legowelt's trade mark sound met Open Concept and it seems to work pretty well. These tracks are one of the bests that I have heard from Mr. Wolfers since he moved to Berlin. These are real Legowelt tracks! Maybe some came from the vaults or maybe some from Berliner nights but what I know is this is the real Legowelt experience and the sound that I want to hear from him.

'Woodland' explains the whole story. A little bit sad and melancholic but never unhappy. A little bit old school but never old fashioned. A little bit heard but never imitated. And all those little delicious crumbs make up a real big thing! 'Day Sailor' is a very good Detroit dweller and 'Nightfall' is the true Den Haag electro spirit. Very tasty, very unique. Not to mention the name track 'The Liechtenstein Account'. Legowelt's best EP in the last 6 months. You gotto have it immediately!
