I am damn right about this. You gotto lend an eye on this latest release of Markus Schatz & Brett Longman. I've been following Longman since his first release called "Love Buff" from Logistic Records. No doubt that it is one of the best releases in Logistic Records discography. And I am telling you that "Dope On Plastic" is going to be a classic EP in Highgrade history. Infact Highgrade is already a high level label with it's always above the line releases. So this saying sounds quite exaggerated, but it is not!

Brett Longman is a classically trained pianist. In the mid 90's he started producing in his bedroom and till his first release "Love Buff", he trained himself for his fresh live sets. you can predict how well trainesd and wise he is on his sets. Now what you get from him is a pure minimal composition with a killer groove and baseline. He rarely reieases music and always does the best.

Markus Schatz is a long time friend of the Highgrade boss Tom Clark. He spent nearly all 80's being a Berlin sprayer and a turntablist which helped out his skills being perfectly enough for the dance floors and producing 'out of the orbit' tracks from Parquet, Highgrade and Opossum. So these two guys came together to make up their minds, sharing their thoughts and skills, creating a pool for their creativitiy for beats and rhtyhms. And we have in our hands an EP called "Dope On Plastic". There are much to discover. From dub to minimal, from house grooves to weird funk. They serve nearly every piece you need in electronic music. I mean this is a  4+1 track tasty EP with lots of fun and crumbs inside. Tasty! Check it out!
