One from Boston, the other from Philedelphia, Tanner Ross and James Watts collaborated six years ago despite 300 miles between them and started producing together, sharing ideas. As they love horror films and as time passed, they started to release under 'Voodeux' moniker. Claude VonStroke suggested an album to the duo after their successful EPs on the label and they of course got very excited.

Their debut 'The Paranormal' is the story of Voodeux and it's conceptualization. A very energetic, soma dark and groovy side of techno and house with a frightening touch. A new style with a touch of classs. CD version of the album has 10 tracks which all contain different tastes and levels of horror. Their style is wellmatched with the Mothership sound and they are all doing a real good vibe. 'Skeleton Key' and 'Heeble Jeebies' are the big room and festival tunes of the album. 'Just A Spoonful' gives the Get Physical kind of things and for me 'Bones' is the track that best defines Voodeux sound. 'Frank The Janitor' has a nice groove where you can not easily find these days. They really have the scary side of the groove and they do it very good. A 'Thriller' effect on the album is obvious and that is really delicious. 

A Berklee graduate Tanner Ross and accomplished producer James Watts aka KiloWatts joined forces to do a better and higher state of tech-house. Beyond all those tribalist and trend sucking tracks and EPs, their productions stay aside. Really original and unique album with a proper theme and well defined fashion. You will love this album! One of the bests in this summer.
