One of the most interesting mininal Berliner duos, Sascha Hirtenfellner and Lars Heinrichs has a new album, a debut from highly accdlaimed Highrade Records, with their outer space robotic clicks techno sattelite, called "Dark Orbit".

Confirming the name given to itself, "Dark Orbit" is the musical implementations or two aliens, who like to do minimal techno in a very straight forward and direct way. Just like a sci-fi movie, Thier sound buzz around with it's weird groove and funk attitude. 

Really Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner sound is the one you can find very rarely, minimal techno with the best and freshest grooves inside. Their use of little cracks, and voice crumbs or effects is as good as a sound artist working for a sci-fi movie.

I find them close to the approach of Rrygular and Mo's Ferry crew, in other words Marek Bois aka Dapayk and Kleinschmager Audio but they have something different. They everytime find this weird outer space vibe. Their sound has a undefined musical flux. They love using cosmic sampling and human voice.

I think that they are decoding their earth excperiences as musical samples and tracks. I of course can't percieve how it sounds there at their homelands but I know that it rocks here out of my speakers. You should here them performing live! Pure, weird, wonky minimal techno. Lovely sound!
