Sinner DC's Ai debut was good enough and their second LP "Crystallized" which contains much more, is going to be released on 20th of April and it will surely make lots of electronica lovers very happy again. The trio has pushed their sound further since the recent "Mount Age" to a higher level where their post electronic posture matured intelligently and deliciously. They are like a rock band now, and as cinematic as the high mountains surrounding Geneva.

Geneva is a cold and silent place. White is the dominant color, but not in Sinner DC's music. Their music is multicolored, with a huge spectrum of analogue, guitar based sounds and scapes inside. Some shoe gazing experience and noise as well. Rockabilly meets electronica, a very intimate and sincere moment of electronic music and in my opinion the most important and promising door, where lots of new generation producers started to get far on.

With the new LP, it seems that they already turned to a band rather than an electronic music duo and all arrangements in the new "Crystallized" LP shows that they will be going on a heavy tour performing live as the new, upgraded and more human sound of Sinner DC. Ai's 10 year celebration ceremony is officially starting with SInner DC's new LP and it is also important in this manner, showing us what is Ai thinking about the future and contemporary electronic music or so called electronica.

The label did not remain indifferent to dub and techno side of things and we have been hearing top notch sounds from the label recently, but Sinner DC's album captures a wider and more important range in the Ai musicology. They are one of the most remarkable electronica outfıt around and I am really curious about their show on stage. Because this new Sinner DC sound is a perfect combination of post-laptop electronica with a gentle pop touch and a well crafted electronic production.

What you get is a very gentle shoegazing journey polished with Swiss modernism and craftsmanship. A very well organized musical setting. "Sunrized" or "Digital Dust" gives the flash of the pop side, "Coast" and "Anyway" are the good examples of their new band identitiy, with "Medium Is The Message" and "V"  which are my favorite tracks in the LP the trio burst out the deepest wounds and unaware feelings with a musical scalpel.  "Golden Horses" and "Glass Alley" are examples of Swiss trance or the Swiss answer to Cologne 4/4 pop or Border Community psych. Overall, this is one of the best albums in the Ai discography and the most valuable album of Sinner DC so far.
